Brine Distillation System

GE brine crystallizer system for zero liquid discharge. Was originally RCC system built in 2006. Decommissioned in 2011. Complete system consisting of deaerator, crystallizer (approx 96 inches OD x 28 ft tall), rinse and waste tanks, APV plate heat exchanger, 5 Goulds pumps. Still installed. See links for drawings, P&ID and Process Flow Diagrams. We have drawings of major pieces of equipment on request. Price quoted incudes contractor removal and loading estimate and is subject to change.

## Glycerin Methanol Recovery Unit (GMRU) - Flash Distillation ##
Manufactured by Harvest Energy - was installed and running at 4MGY Biodiesel Plant. Like New.
- Skid mounted flash distillation system
- Designed at 2 gpm currently
- Can be upgraded to 5 gpm by the manufacturer for $18,000 additional over quoted price
- Flash distillation column is 30" OD x 116" T/T rated at MAWP 50 psia/full vacuum. Carbon Steel
- Previously installed in a biodiesel plant in 2013, ran consistently until removal in 2019
- This distillation unit has been blasted and repainted in 2020 - still idle.
- Two Structural steel skids - Footprint size approx 19'-4" x 8'-6"

System operates on a principal of distillation by vaporizing the methanol and water, then condensing it in a series of heat exchangers. Condensed methanol is held in a full vacuum vessel and pumped out via a rotary gear pump. Entire system operates under extreme vacuum conditions 25 – 30” Hg. Full vacuum affords process advantage by lowering vaporization temperature of methanol and providing carrier motive to pull vaporized methanol from glycerin and force it into condensers
